Kavitha Kasargod

Co-Founder & Creative Director

Kavitha is an architect by training and a spatial storyteller by instinct. Her work is defined by a deep sensitivity to ritual, memory, and identity, shaped as much by her cultural roots as by her creative practice. Raised in the heritage-rich neighbourhood of Basavanagudi in Bangalore, where Vedic chants marked the dawn and classical ragas closed the day, Kavitha’s design philosophy is grounded in symbolism, stillness, and soul.

She began her career at Gayathri and Namith Architects, one of India’s most respected architectural firms, where she evolved from intern to Studio Head. For over 15 years, she led teams across residential and cultural projects, cultivating a practice that balances conceptual depth with precision in execution. That journey gave rise to her own studio, Spellbound, which quickly earned recognition for its refined aesthetic and emotionally resonant spaces.

Ithi Atelier is the global expression of that vision, built for those creating intentional and culturally anchored environments across India and a global clientele spanning the Middle East, US, UK, and Singapore. At Ithi, Kavitha leads a multidisciplinary team of architects and designers who translate personal and collective narratives into spaces of clarity, grace, and lasting beauty.

Bharti Sharma

Co-Founder & Client Director

Bharti blends strategic clarity, cultural fluency, and emotional intelligence. Raised in New Zealand and Australia, educated in law, and shaped by a life across some of the world’s most dynamic cities, she brings a global intuition that goes beyond geography.

From her early capital markets career at Linklaters, one of the world’s leading law firms, in London and Singapore, to scaling tech ventures in Sydney and Dubai, Bharti has always operated at the intersection of business and culture. Her worldview remains grounded in India, where deep spiritual practice and heritage shape the way she sees and creates.

At Ithi, Bharti channels these lived experiences into journeys that are both rigorous and resonant. She understands not just what clients want but how they live, think, and feel—especially those navigating layered identities. For her, design is not merely visual. It’s relational. It’s how trust is built, how values are embodied, and how spaces begin to feel like home.
